The story of Ghada Jaber, the daughter of a wealthy Lebanese merchant, is a tale of love and sacrifice. Despite her disdain for war, Ghada fell in love with Mustafa Chamran, a scholarly freedom fighter from Iran who actively participated in the war and taught in the orphanages of the Lebanese Shias.
